Senior🎓
Top SchoolPablo Romanelli is a Staff Software Engineer with 11 years' experience designing and operating distributed systems, with deep expertise in consistency models, CRDTs, and functional programming—preferentially Scala. He has led backend architecture and platform teams at companies like Mercado Libre and OpenGov, and built foundational services, frameworks and observability stacks across startups and scale-ups. Pablo combines hands-on engineering (Kafka, Docker, BPMN/Zeebe, Prometheus/Grafana, PostgreSQL) with coaching and cross-squad alignment to deliver idempotent, event-driven systems and clear bounded contexts. He also taught advanced programming techniques at UTN Buenos Aires, translating metaprogramming and object-functional concepts into practical code and team practices. A pragmatic engineer, he favors immutability and property-based testing to increase reliability, and has a track record of migrating legacy JVM workloads to modern, containerized and event-driven architectures.
