Senior🎓
Top SchoolPankaj Gupta is a seasoned technology founder and engineering leader with 20+ years of experience building consumer products, AI/ML systems, and large-scale infrastructure across startups and giants like Google and Coinbase. He has led engineering organizations supporting hundreds of engineers and hundreds of millions of users—heading Google Pay consumer engineering and scaling Coinbase’s consumer apps to represent the majority of its revenue. A PhD from Stanford and a history of successful exits and acqui-hires (including Halli Labs and earlier startups) give him deep technical credibility across algorithms, NLP, and systems design. He combines product instincts with hands-on ML and blockchain engineering, currently cofounding Yupp to build an AI-driven consumer startup out of Palo Alto. Notably, he’s repeatedly taken projects from zero to tens of millions of users and has a track record of translating research into shipping products and hardware that still ship today. Colleagues describe him as an operator who pairs academic rigor with practical speed to market.
