Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolPaolo Oranges is a Technical Director with over a decade of experience designing high-performance software for games, embedded systems, and biometrics, blending a Computer Engineering background from Politecnico di Milano with a Master’s in Sound Design and Engineering. He combines low-level optimization (C++, SSE, CUDA), GPGPU and lockless multithreading expertise with hands-on game engineering and live-ops experience on major titles like Subway Surfers and Talking Tom franchises. Across senior technical and leadership roles he has owned technical vision, release management, and engineering growth—hiring, mentoring, and aligning teams to product roadmaps. He is equally comfortable shipping engine-level C++ on proprietary stacks and integrating Windows/embedded systems, with a less obvious strength in digital signal processing applied to audio, video and biometric domains. Based in Barcelona, Paolo thrives at the intersection of computer music, graphics, and scalable game systems, driving pragmatic technical decisions that meet live-service demands.
