Senior🎓
Top SchoolPatrick Calahan is a Principal Software Architect in San Francisco with nine years in senior enterprise roles and over two decades of engineering experience driving large-scale platform reliability and developer productivity at Salesforce. He combines hands-on architectural leadership—rewriting critical engines, migrating monoliths, and automating production failure routing—with pragmatic, customer-focused delivery that produced record subscription revenue. Known for leading engineering-by-keyboard, he has orchestrated cross-organizational programs to declare ownership of millions of legacy files and built tooling that cut developer build times by 20%. Patrick pairs empathy-driven team leadership with a knack for retrofitting complex systems (notably encryption-at-rest into a legacy ORM) to meet modern security and operational demands.
