Top SchoolPatrick Chung is a senior system/application analyst and Ruby on Rails full-stack developer with over 18 years of experience delivering pragmatic, data-focused software in education and financial services. Based in Portland, he has led cross-functional teams to design and deploy large-scale systems—most notably REDEI at OHSU—a Rails application that consolidates assessment data from multiple vendor systems and powers reporting, surveys, and competency tracking for medical education. He excels at translating complex technical data into actionable insights and visualizations for non-technical stakeholders such as deans and curriculum committees. Patrick pairs hands-on coding (Ruby, Rails, PHP/SQL, JavaScript) with strong project leadership and a track record of meeting deadlines and reducing operational friction. His background includes building multi-platform educational course shells and automations that produced measurable cost savings and simplified maintenance. Colleagues value his ability to bridge technical and business perspectives to deliver reliable, usable systems that support mission-critical decisions.
