Top SchoolPaul Dugas is a Principal Software Engineer and systems architect with 30+ years of hands-on experience designing and rebuilding complex hardware and software systems, currently tech-leading Cribl Edge. Trained as a computer engineer at Georgia Tech, he blends low-level understanding—from circuits and microcode—to full-stack software, distributed systems, and cloud deployments. He’s spent decades consulting on diverse domains including GPU-accelerated radar processing, VoIP, satellite trackers, and redundant network designs, and runs his own firm, Dugas Enterprises. Known as the engineer who learns every technical detail of a project, he pairs deep coding ability with coaching and DevOps guidance for junior and mid-level teams. Always curious, Paul repeatedly teaches himself new tools and architectures to deliver more maintainable, high-availability solutions.
