Top SchoolPaul Gilzow is a Developer Advocate with 11+ years of experience specializing in web application security, accessibility, and developer experience. At Platform.sh he bridges platform capabilities and developer needs, drawing on a decade of university work where he architected large-scale WordPress and Drupal fleets, automated deployments and updates, and cut site setup times from hours to minutes. An active open-source maintainer, he continues to develop the wpDirAuth LDAP plugin and a rapid-theme MVC framework, showing a strong commitment to practical tooling and community support. Known for mentoring teams and building CI/CD and local-dev automation, he combines deep operational know-how with a passion for teaching and conference speaking. Outside the usual bio, he’s equally likely to be found mountain biking, snowboarding, or dancing with his kids, bringing the same energy to developer relations as to life.
