Top SchoolPaul Krizak is a Principal IT Engineer with over 12 years of experience designing, administering, and developing large-scale, multi-national compute environments. He currently leads architecture and delivery of a hybrid on-prem/cloud multi-tenant Kubernetes platform for Qualcomm, blending Rancher, Portworx, EKS/GKE and robust containerized microservices. His background spans deep Linux and EDA compute-grid administration, OS provisioning and patching frameworks (CfEngine, Puppet, Kickstart), and performance benchmarking for large-scale hardware purchases. A pragmatic polyglot developer, he builds complex tooling in Python, Perl, Shell and C and has architected production systems using Elasticsearch, Flask, RabbitMQ and Angular. Notably, he combines systems-level expertise with application development—authoring plugin-based resource-tracking services that manage tens of thousands of assets without per-use rewrites. Based in San Diego, he pairs operational rigor with a track record of reducing lead times and automating at scale.
