Top SchoolPaul Micu is a freelance software engineer with 8 years of experience building Java/Spring Boot microservices and modern full‑stack applications, now operating remotely from the Greater Montreal area. He has delivered production systems using microservice and event-driven architectures, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices for enterprise clients like Desjardins and Croix Bleue, and recently took a product-first approach developing a 3D battlemap builder with STL export and end-to-end deployment on Vercel. Comfortable spanning back-end Java services and front-end TypeScript/React/Next.js, he combines pragmatic engineering with hands-on product management, user testing and market research. A digital nomad with a background in device repair and customer-facing roles, he brings practical troubleshooting instincts and a user-centered perspective to technical design.
