Summary
👤
SeniorPaul Planchon is an Associate Staff Engineer based in Paris with eight years of experience scaling legacy systems into robust, cloud-native platforms. He leads an eight-person, globally distributed team to evolve a six-year-old product to handle millions of requests per month across seven EKS clusters, driving migrations to monorepos and performance-focused Postgres architectures. Hands-on across the stack, Paul builds no-code editors, AI benchmarking CLIs using vLLM on-prem, and end-to-end features from UI sketches to AWS infrastructure with Node, Go, React and Kubernetes. He combines pragmatic engineering with technical leadership—mentoring engineers, designing observability and CI/CD pipelines, and shipping production-ready solutions for complex business processes. Paul’s background in math and computer engineering and early work in data-driven tooling give him a rare blend of analytical rigor and product-focused delivery.
