Top SchoolPaul Sukhanov is an AI software engineer and technical founder with 11 years of experience building scalable automated systems spanning multimodal video search, biomedical signal processing, and finance automation. He has led product and engineering at startups (Streamfisher/ShufflVid, ReMIXR) while partnering with Fortune 500 teams at Meta and Citrix, blending hands-on development with strategic leadership. His background in computational neuroscience and early work on brain–computer interfaces inform a research-driven approach to applied ML and signal decoding. At UCSF he built production pipelines for MRI and behavioral data analysis, shipping clinician- and researcher-facing tools that processed thousands of patient records. Now based in San Diego, he focuses on bringing robust ML systems into production, with a knack for turning complex multimodal data problems into practical, user-facing products. An uncommon thread through his career is translating neuroscience-era signal decoding techniques into creative media and finance automation solutions.
