Senior🎓
Top SchoolPavan Vakkalam is a Senior Member of Technical Staff with over a decade designing and shipping mission-critical cloud-native systems, currently focused on infrastructure provisioning and Kubernetes-based platforms at Oracle. He builds end-to-end automation—authoring REST APIs, Helm charts, terraform modules and operators—to bring up regions, deploy services, and integrate observability and email delivery control plane components. His background spans Azure durable functions, CosmosDB, and performance testing as well as legacy modernization in Java, giving him fluency across serverless, containerized, and traditional stacks. Pavan pairs hands-on coding (including unit tests with mock Kubernetes servers) with infrastructure-as-code best practices, having constructed a terraform codebase from scratch for OKE workloads. He holds advanced degrees in computer science and embedded systems and often blends low-level systems thinking with cloud automation to solve operationally complex problems. Based in Liberty Hill, Texas, he brings a pragmatic leadership style that favors reproducible, testable deployments across multi-region environments.
