Senior🎓
Top SchoolPeter Morrow is a systems-focused software engineer with 11 years of experience building low-level, high-performance networking, compute and storage software across startups and large enterprises. He has worked on Linux systems and kernel-level projects at Microsoft LSG for Azure VM infrastructure, high-performance forwarding at Cisco, and firmware and RTOS development for embedded STM32 platforms. Comfortable in C, Python and embedded toolchains, he also iterates in Rust and Go for systems and networking work, often in security- and SLA-driven environments. His background spans end-to-end product bring-up—from firmware and driver development to OS porting and distributed storage fabrics—bringing practical systems architecture to operational constraints. Based in Scotland, he combines deep protocol and kernel experience with a knack for mentoring and developer tooling that accelerates teams. Notably, he moves fluidly between embedded firmware and cloud-scale infrastructure, making him effective at bridging edge-to-cloud systems.
