Senior🎓
Top SchoolPetr Kalinin is a Senior Software Developer with 12 years of experience combining production-grade backend systems at Yandex with a deep academic background as a Candidate of Sciences in physics. He has built server-side infrastructure for Yandex.Maps (Parkings, Jams) and currently works on core network features for Yandex.Browser, including cookie management and third-party tracking protection. Prior roles include numerical simulation research at Intel and scientific work on exciton dynamics, reflecting strong applied-math and algorithmic instincts. He also founded Algoprog.ru and teaches algorithms to school students, running a site that supports automated solution testing and classroom use for hundreds of learners. An active competitive programmer with Codeforces and StackOverflow presence, he blends algorithmic problem-solving with pragmatic engineering for robust, scalable services. Less obvious: his career uniquely bridges low-level network/privacy engineering, computational physics research, and hands-on pedagogy.
