Top SchoolPhilipp Schumacher is a senior full‑stack software engineer based in Berlin with nearly 20 years of professional experience and a strong focus on agile delivery. He has shipped production systems across e‑commerce, mobility, and research environments at companies like Zalando, On, ImmobilienScout24 and most recently BestSecret Group, blending backend Java expertise with pragmatic frontend solutions. A proponent of readable, well‑structured code, he actively breaks down knowledge silos through pair programming and rigorous code reviews to boost team learning and velocity. Philipp’s decade-plus exposure to agile practices informs his emphasis on transparency, short iterations and a clear product vision, and he habitually drives incremental improvements whenever he spots suboptimal processes. Despite a long career, he keeps a hands-on engineering mindset, pairing technical leadership with day‑to‑day coding and mentorship.
