Top SchoolPhilippe Eng is a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in Austin with 11 years of experience and a strong focus on frontend development, particularly building scalable, cloud-integrated web applications. He has driven major frontend modernizations—progressively migrating apps from jQuery to Vue 2 and Vue 3—while also implementing backend microservices with FastAPI and automating AWS deployments via ECS Fargate and AWS CDK. At HeartFlow he led infrastructure and CI/CD modernization efforts (Jenkins to GitHub Actions), integrated SSO solutions, and mentors new hires, blending hands-on coding with team growth. Known for pragmatic performance optimizations (caching, code-splitting) and tooling like a Node/Puppeteer PDF generator, he balances polished UIs with reliable automation. He studied web-focused computer science at EPITA and expanded his perspective through an exchange at Nanjing University, which informs his collaborative, cross-cultural approach to product development.
