Senior🎓
Top SchoolPhilippe Graff is a postdoctoral researcher and Doctor of Computer Science with eight years of experience at the intersection of networking, low-latency systems, and machine learning for classification and anomaly detection. Currently at the University of Waterloo he develops an Open RAN platform and applications for 5G and beyond, building on his PhD work creating multi-layer orchestration for latency-sensitive services. Trained as a computer engineer with a strong mathematics background, he blends theoretical rigor with hands-on implementation across cloud gaming, temporal-series AI, and honeypot log analysis. His profile is unusual for a researcher: alongside academia he serves as a reservist in the Gendarmerie Nationale, bringing operational discipline and real-world safety experience to technical projects. Comfortable in both research labs (CNRS, Inria) and industry settings, he excels at turning complex networking requirements into validated, deployable systems.
