Top SchoolPierpaolo Rai is an IT Project Manager and seasoned software engineer with around a decade of hands-on experience building Java/Javascript enterprise systems for public sector clients. He blends architecture and delivery skills—designing system specs, estimating resources, coordinating teams up to nine people, and guiding cloud and digital transformation efforts like the Cloudify NoiPA program. Technically fluent across Java/J2EE, Spring, Kafka/ActiveMQ, Apache Camel, and modern front-end stacks (Angular/React), he also has deep experience with big data platforms, Liferay portals and integration with Oracle and NoSQL stores. His background includes leading the design of a government Data & Analytics Framework and dataportal that served data scientists and public users alike, showing a knack for marrying backend scale with user-facing tooling. Known for turning complex public-administration requirements into pragmatic, cost-conscious solutions, he pairs UML and agile tool fluency with practical troubleshooting and first-level support experience. Based in Rome, he brings institutional-IT domain expertise and a proven track record of modernizing large, multi-portal systems.
