Top SchoolPierre-anthony Lemieux is an entertainment technology strategist and software architect with over a decade of experience spanning content authoring, consumer devices, and secure content distribution across physical media and IP. He has led and authored worldwide technical standards for D-Cinema and IMF, chaired multiple industry groups (including the IMF User Group and ISDCF), and served in executive roles such as Executive Director at the Alliance for Open Media. His background blends hands-on architecture—from embedded systems and RESTful DRM services to web clients—with deep standards evangelism and interoperability testing. A former Dolby director and inventor on multiple patents, he negotiates licensing and investments and conducts technology and patent valuations for commercial adoption. Based in California, he maintains open-source libraries (imscJS, regxmllib) and uniquely combines physics-trained analytical rigor (UCLA PhD work) with practical industry diplomacy among studios, vendors, and standards bodies.
