Top SchoolPierre Cassat is a DevOps consultant and seasoned web developer with 14 years of experience blending R&D, hands-on engineering and open-source craftsmanship from Paris. Autodidactically transitioned from biological engineering to lead PHP developer and DevOps specialist, he has delivered complex architectures and CI/CD automation for clients like Club Med and Smile, mastering Docker, Ansible, GitLab CI and enterprise stacks (Magento, MS Dynamics/ISAM). He runs several long-standing personal OSS projects—most notably a custom Markdown parser—and routinely contributes plugins and tooling across PHP, SPIP and Node.js ecosystems. Comfortable from low-level UNIX ops to frontend tooling, he excels at untangling legacy PHP systems and turning them into maintainable, deployable platforms. Pragmatic and curious, he combines a “school of life” approach with formal biotech training to tackle technical problems with unconventional perspectives.
