Senior🎓
Top SchoolPiotr Pedrycz is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building and migrating cloud-native financial systems for major banks and enterprises. He has led end-to-end projects including a Global Social Network Analytics migration at HSBC and currently drives financial data ETL and visualization for Prime Analytics at Vertex Agility using Java, GCP, Kubernetes and BigQuery. Comfortable both as a hands-on developer and informal tech lead, he’s delivered microservices, data pipelines and API layers across regulated domains (payments, trade settlement, fraud) while shaping design decisions and interviewing candidates. His background blends deep backend expertise with practical DevOps practices—Terraform, Docker, Jenkins—and a knack for translating complex financial requirements into robust, observable systems. Although based in Queensland and originally trained at AGH University of Krakow, he frequently operates across international teams and cloud environments, which has become a recurring strength in his contract work.
