Top SchoolPiyush Ajmani is a Senior Software Engineer based in Mexico City with nine years of experience building customer-facing web and backend systems, currently driving product and platform work at Pangea Money Transfer. He specializes in React.js frontends and Python backends, with hands-on experience in AWS serverless architectures, Elasticsearch, and microservice communication patterns. Piyush has repeatedly led performance-focused projects—from scaling payments systems to 30K+ daily transactions to designing a high-performance React customer app—and pairs that with pragmatic security and infrastructure improvements like VPN access, IAM hardening, and centralized logging. Beyond product work he tutors students in algorithms, Java, Python and mobile/web development, reflecting a strong commitment to teaching and clear technical communication. Not immediately obvious from his title: he blends product-facing UI leadership with backend and DevOps ownership, making him comfortable shipping end-to-end solutions in fast-moving fintech environments.
