Top SchoolPotito Aghilar is a Ph.D. student and research collaborator at Politecnico di Bari with nine years of experience building ML-driven cloud and web systems. He designs and implements 3D reconstruction pipelines and digital-twin solutions that convert 2D imagery into virtual-importable models, blending research rigor with production microservices. As an ML, cloud and full-stack engineer at Wideverse he has led GPU-accelerated cloud infrastructure, MLOps and CI/CD efforts and delivered AR/VR applications for both commercial and defense projects. His academic record is marked by top honors across bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering, reflecting strong theoretical foundations. Comfortable moving from low-level infrastructure to front-end experiences, he’s known for integrating research prototypes into scalable, on-prem and cloud-native products. An uncommon strength is his track record of shepherding complex AR/VR and 3D ML projects from concept to operational deployments in partnership with industry players.
