Top SchoolPouya Kary is a Senior Technical Program Manager with 11 years of experience blending compiler and language engineering, product-level frontend work, and systems thinking to build environments for thought. He has led technical teams and startups—from founding Humane Studio and the Kary Foundation to serving as CTO and technical lead—delivering compilers, CAD and optimization engines, cross-platform native apps, and windowing UX systems. Pouya reverse-engineered Pine Script into a production compiler and contributed UI improvements to the widely used Microsoft VS Code project, highlighting both low-level language design skills and attention to developer-facing detail. Currently at FANAP he’s designing Project 1285, an ambitious reimagining of education that fuses philosophy, psychoanalysis, and learning tech. His background in piano performance and deep curiosity about new mediums inform a multidisciplinary approach to tooling, creativity, and human-centered systems.
