Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolPrasad Mate is a software engineer with nine years of experience building distributed systems and microservices, currently focused on scalable backend work at Workday. He has deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot, cloud-native deployments (Azure and AWS), and observability tooling, having led teams to deliver production services for hospitality, retail, and consent-management platforms. Prasad combines backend engineering with UI/UX awareness and integration work—designing workflows and connectors to systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Eloqua—so he understands both developer and end-user needs. His background includes maintaining analytics stacks (Elasticsearch, Solr) and legacy data systems (HBase, Kafka), which gives him a pragmatic edge when modernizing platforms. A UGA MSCS graduate, he’s actively exploring data science and pursues research spikes and POCs to validate new approaches before committing them to production. Colleagues would describe him as an engineer who balances rigorous testing and observability with a curiosity for practical data-driven enhancements.
