Top SchoolPrashant Bhuruk is a Senior Software Development Engineer with 10 years of experience building and modernizing authentication and payments platforms, now based in San Francisco. He specializes in Java/Spring Boot microservices, API-first design, and cloud-native migrations—containerizing apps for Kubernetes and re-architecting services for Pivotal Cloud Foundry. His work spans from designing inbound/outbound SAML SSO and in-memory caching to event-driven pipelines using Kafka and ActiveMQ for fraud analytics and high-volume payments. Prashant has driven CI/CD and developer tooling improvements—moving mono-repos to service-specific Git repos, introducing Gradle/Jenkins pipelines and strong test coverage with JUnit5 and Sonar. He combines deep systems-level Java expertise (multithreading, streams, DI) with pragmatic platform thinking to make legacy enterprise systems cloud-ready. An often-overlooked strength is his end-to-end ownership: from contract-first OpenAPI specs to deployment and runtime optimizations for scalable production systems.
