Senior🎓
Top SchoolRafael Gutiérrez is a seasoned Lead Software Engineer with over 15 years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise-grade systems across insurance, banking, travel and research sectors. A Spring-certified Java specialist and advocate of Agile, TDD and software craftsmanship, he combines deep backend expertise (Spring Boot, messaging, JVM concurrency) with modern frontend experience in Angular/React and experimentation in functional languages like Clojure and Elixir. He has led architecture and delivery at Encora and prior firms, mentoring teams to produce high-quality, production-ready software and defining end-to-end architectures. Comfortable across Linux, Windows and macOS, Rafael is equally fluent in relational databases and integration patterns, and brings a pragmatic, autodidactic approach to adopting new technologies. Notable for bridging hands-on coding with presales and solution-architecture responsibilities, he helps shape both technical direction and client-facing solutions.
