Senior🎓
Top SchoolRafael Schmitt is a Senior iOS Engineer with nine years of experience building polished, user-focused apps across startups and high-traffic enterprise clients. He blends Swift, SwiftUI and modern architectures (Clean Architecture, MVVM) to deliver scalable features with strong emphasis on tests, CI/CD and performance observability. Rafael has shipped end-to-end products as an indie creator — one of his apps reached 29k downloads and 5.6k monthly active users — and used that work as a lab to experiment with product design, backend (Vapor) and DevOps. At TELUS Digital and ArcTouch he led critical iOS initiatives for large U.S. clients, mentoring teammates and steering architectural decisions in mixed UIKit/SwiftUI codebases. Based in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, he pairs a UX-first sensibility and pixel-perfect craft with pragmatic technical choices that balance speed and long-term sustainability. Colleagues rely on him for turning complex UI and product requirements into delightful, maintainable mobile experiences.
