Top SchoolRafael Silveira is a Network Systems Designer based in Queensland with over two decades of experience in telecommunications and 11 years in senior enterprise roles delivering mission-critical network and security architectures. He has led complex infrastructure programs across defence, healthcare, government and utilities—designing and deploying secure networks, SD-WAN, and MPLS/Fibre WANs while managing vendor relationships and large-scale cutovers. Known for blending hands-on engineering (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, VMware) with program leadership, Rafael has repeatedly moved organisations through major transformations including datacentre builds and IP telephony migrations. He brings practical cyber-security discipline to architecture and rollout, having supported Boeing Defence and state police operations where QA and compliance were non-negotiable. Rafael also mentors teams and teaches advanced networking, reflecting a commitment to knowledge transfer alongside delivery. Comfortable across cloud and on-prem ecosystems, he pairs technical depth with a pragmatic focus on uptime and measurable ROI.
