Top SchoolRáfagan Abreu is a Chief Technology Officer and software architect with a decade of experience building scalable cloud-native systems, mobile platforms, and game engines across startups and fintechs. He combines strong mathematical foundations with hands-on expertise in AWS serverless architectures, Python, C/C++, and modern web/mobile stacks (Vue/Nuxt, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter), frequently designing low-latency audio, physics simulations, and websocket-driven real-time services. At Transferbank he architected the serverless currency-exchange backbone that supported rapid growth and over $1B in transactions, while also shipping UX-focused dashboards and global payment integrations. A former game developer and math modeler, he applies game-engine thinking and AI/ML instincts to problems like multiplayer systems, optimization and automation. He’s passionate about teaching—having authored and taught multiple university and academy courses—and quietly blends research-oriented curiosity (unfinished AI master’s work) with pragmatic product delivery. Known for solving hard low-level problems, he bridges infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and native performance tuning to move ideas from prototype to production.
