Senior🎓
Top SchoolRafi Olaverria is a Senior Software Engineer based in Boston with eight years of experience building and advising product-focused engineering teams across startups and mid-size tech companies. He currently architects and reviews code at Claravine after recent senior engineering roles at Thrive Global and Drift, where he progressed from intern to full engineer. As founder of Olaverria Co, LLC and co-founder of an IoT startup, he blends hands-on implementation with strategic tech-stack and roadmap counsel for early-stage ventures. Rafi has taught STEM to K–5 students and led community fellowships, demonstrating a commitment to mentorship and accessible technical education. He has a pragmatic approach to tooling and machine-assisted development—“instructing LLMs to write code better than I generally do”—which he uses to scale code review and quality. The result is a versatile engineer who pairs product empathy with practical systems design and a founder’s sense for iterative learning.
