Top SchoolRahat is a driven young project manager and open-source enthusiast from Uttar Pradesh, India, currently juggling roles at The Linux Foundation and the Open Mainframe Project while pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science. In just his first college year he earned a rare LFX'24 internship, secured multiple remote paid internships, and consistently ranks top of his class with a 9.88 CGPA. He contributes to mainframe modernization, hosts a project podcast, and serves as an OMP ambassador—demonstrating both technical depth and community leadership early in his career. Rahat also mentors and onboards new contributors for projects like Oppia, and is building the "1stSemCoder" community to lower the bar for novice developers. His philosophy—"code is like humor; when you have to explain it, it’s bad"—reflects a preference for clear, self-explanatory solutions that scale in collaborative open-source environments.
