Senior🎓
Top SchoolRahul Menon is a software engineer and MS candidate at UT Austin with a strong focus on intelligence, robotics, and space systems, bringing nine years of hands-on experience across research and industry. He has driven avionics and flight-computer software for liquid-bipropellant rockets, prototyped ML models for in-flight anomaly detection at Boeing, and contributed to high-speed navigation research in an autonomous robotics lab. Internships and early roles at Jump Trading and MITRE reflect his comfort shipping production software, building CI/CD pipelines, and automating complex systems. Rahul combines low-level C++ embedded development and safety analysis with modern ML and distributed-data workflows, and once led a team building full-stack mission control and hardware-in-the-loop testing for flight systems. He’s motivated by how intelligence emerges and applies that curiosity to making robot and space software more robust and reliable.
