Rahul Patil
Senior AI Engineer at Social Up Advertising
Manchester, England, United Kingdom
Summary
🎓
Top SchoolRahul Patil is a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in Manchester with six years of experience building cloud-native, AI-first platforms that run at scale and high uptime. He led end-to-end development of a distributed system processing hundreds of thousands of records per hour, combining Next.js/TypeScript frontends with Python/FastAPI backends, Kubernetes (KEDA) autoscaling, and GPU-enabled workers. Rahul designs resilient LLM pipelines with multi-provider fallbacks, aggressive caching, and custom autoscaling that cut API costs by ~70% while preserving reliability. He pairs product-facing UX work with deep infrastructure ownership—observability for LLM cost tracking, idempotent payment flows, and 30s warmups for worker fleets—to keep MTTR low across frequent deployments. Outside core delivery he brings a collaborative, improvement-focused mindset and a proven ability to absorb spikes (10x traffic) without user impact.
