Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolRahul Vats is a Senior Member of Technical Staff with nine years of experience building resilient, API-driven cloud orchestration and lifecycle systems, currently driving DbaaS control-plane workflows for Oracle's BaseDB Service on Cloud@Customer. He has a strong foundation in algorithm design and data science from IIT Guwahati and combines that academic rigor with hands-on engineering—designing idempotent, fault-tolerant workflows, compensating actions, and work-request monitoring for production readiness. Previously he architected CLAP, an internal self-service artifact pipeline at Oracle that automates artifact signing, encryption, security scans, and environment-specific configuration propagation. Rahul is comfortable across backend stacks (including Django REST frameworks) and contributes pragmatic fixes to open-source DB tooling, showing a bias for operational robustness and secure deployment. Based in Delhi, he pairs deep systems thinking with cross-functional collaboration to move complex cloud-DB features from QA to limited-availability production.
