Rahul Yedida is a Senior Data Scientist and CS PhD candidate with a decade of experience applying theory-driven machine learning to practical software engineering problems. He has driven state-of-the-art results in defect prediction, issue close-time forecasting, and code smell detection, emphasizing computationally efficient methods that scale to real-world corpora like GitHub and Bugzilla. At LexisNexis and through internships at Amazon, he has translated research into production-ready full-stack solutions, pairing ML models with MERN/Flask-based tooling. Beyond modeling, Rahul’s blend of rigorous academic research and hands-on web development means he both invents novel algorithms and ships end-to-end systems—a combination that accelerates impact while keeping compute costs down.
