Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolRaj Varkala is a founder-engineer with six years of formal experience and a long track record of shipping consumer hits—his Regaltusk games have reached over 30 million users with zero marketing spend. He currently builds Valmi, an outcome-based billing and payments infrastructure for AI agents, and has released valmi-activation, an open-source reverse-ETL that cut a customer’s SaaS costs by an estimated 70%. Raj combines deep technical roots from an IIT Guwahati computer science degree and IIIT-H AI certification with an MBA from Chicago Booth, bridging product, data infrastructure, and go-to-market strategy. Previously he led engineering at RudderStack and contributed pro bono to educational tech through Class Space, signaling a mix of enterprise and social impact work. He’s pragmatic about cost-efficient data stacks (Iceberg, Minio, Trino, Airbyte, dbt) and enjoys turning operational complexity into measurable business outcomes. Based in Hyderabad, he pairs entrepreneurial grit with hands-on engineering and a bias for open-source leverage.
