Top SchoolRajaraman Iyer is an Oracle database developer with two decades of IT experience across investment and consumer banking, currently focusing on performance tuning and PL/SQL at Broadridge in Singapore. He spent a decade as a senior technical lead at Barclays’ middle-office Transaction Database, where he drove infrastructure migrations, automated release workflows, and introduced DevOps practices to improve operational resilience. Rajaraman pairs deep database expertise (PL/SQL, tuning, ETL, archival to big data) with strong Unix scripting and practical Java/Hadoop familiarity, enabling end-to-end data solutions and predictable query performance. He has frequently led teams, mentored developers, and managed stakeholder expectations while running complex web and banking projects, including DBS public site delivery. Notably, he blends hands-on engineering with process stewardship—automating environment refreshes and embedding sustainable release practices that reduced risk and sped delivery.
