Senior🎓
Top SchoolRajat Patel is a Lead Machine Learning Engineer with 8 years of experience building production-grade NLP and information extraction systems, currently leading ML efforts at Chime in San Francisco. He blends applied research—particularly in entity linking, event detection, and knowledge representation—with engineering rigor, shipping scalable REST APIs, feedback pipelines, and transformer-based services backed by vector databases. Rajat has driven end-to-end solutions from research prototypes (GANs for event detection, product/service extraction) to robust, monitored production systems using Kubernetes, MLflow, and Kafka. He has a strong data engineering and MLOps toolkit (PySpark, Prefect, Sagemaker, Docker) and a track record improving model reliability through human-in-the-loop pipelines and drift detection. Beyond engineering, he contributes to nonprofit impact work with Full Circle Fund and brings a rare combination of clinical-signal research experience and large-scale enterprise ML deployment.
