Top SchoolRajitha Wimalasooriya is a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Melbourne with over a decade of professional experience and a long track record of full‑stack delivery stretching back to early .NET and desktop imaging work. He has progressed through roles at government and enterprise organisations—Victorian Electoral Commission, FTI Consulting and Pearson—consistently shipping scalable, high‑performance web applications and coordinating distributed teams. Currently focused on frontend engineering at Compass Education, Rajitha blends user‑facing UI craft with deep backend understanding, enabling pragmatic end‑to‑end solutions. He has repeatedly taken on complex implementation and mentoring responsibilities, helping turn ambiguous requirements into maintainable systems. Comfortable working on both onsite client engagements and with offshore teams, he brings a practical, results‑oriented approach shaped by varied industry contexts. His background in image processing and early desktop component development gives him a rare appreciation for low‑level performance tradeoffs even in modern web stacks.
