Ralfonso G is an internationally recognized designer and entrepreneur who has created kinetic, light, and interactive sculptures for public and private spaces since 1980, operating studios in West Palm Beach and Geneva. As president and co-founder of the Kinetic Art Organization (KAO) since 2001, he has grown the group to over 1,000 members across 60+ countries and advises cities, developers, and architects on large-scale interactive public art and STEAM programming. His work ranges from intimate pieces to 20-meter monuments exhibited worldwide, and he pioneered curriculum-level teaching in kinetic and interactive art, including China’s first course at Tsinghua University. Combining an artist’s vision with Wharton-trained business acumen, he publishes and curates international essays on kinetic and op art, bridging creative practice, education, and urban placemaking. An unexpected strength is his ability to fuse engineering, app-driven interactivity, and environmental responsiveness into sculptures that engage viewers directly through touch, web, and ambient forces.
