Top SchoolRalph Whitbeck is a Senior Developer Advocate at Atlassian with over two decades in web development and 16 years focused on developer relations and training. Based in Fairport, NY, he blends hands-on front-end expertise (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery) with event-driven community building—creating and running appendTo’s Modern Web Conference and delivering profitable public and private training programs. He has a track record of scaling developer programs and pre-conference trainings that generated significant revenue and global attendance, while also contributing UI improvements to prominent open-source projects like jQuery sites. Ralph is equally comfortable on stage, in the classroom, or in the codebase, and is known for turning short timelines into impactful, well-attended technical experiences. His background in both professional services leadership and product evangelism gives him rare insight into how developer education drives adoption across enterprise ecosystems.
