Summary
👤
SeniorRamon Marques is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of full-stack experience, currently building cloud-native services at Cleary using Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rails, Node.js, React and Vue on AWS with Docker and CI/CD. He has a strong background in architecting and migrating production systems—evidenced by work on EngineYard’s AWS Fargate integration and API migrations at CHUTE—while also owning billing reconciliation and defect resolution responsibilities. Ramon’s career spans government projects and enterprise platforms, delivering consumer-facing web and mobile applications as well as internal tooling and DevOps automation. Comfortable across databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), caches (Redis, Memcached) and testing frameworks, he blends hands-on coding with operational discipline. He also studied Computer Engineering and completed postgraduate leadership training, bringing both technical depth and a coaching mindset to teams. An attention to legacy-to-modern migrations and cost-awareness in cloud deployments is a recurring, non-obvious thread in his work.
