Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolRamtin Javanmardi is a Lead Data Platform Engineer with nine years of hands-on experience designing and shipping cloud-native data platforms, currently based in Stockholm. He has led data platform builds and migrations across GCP and AWS—moving on-prem warehouses to BigQuery, implementing dbt at scale, and establishing CI/CD and Terraform-driven infrastructure. Ramtin blends technical leadership with education, regularly upskilling teams in Python, dbt, and IaC while also taking ownership of complex integrations like custom Kafka connectors for transaction ingestion. His work in regulated environments includes GDPR- and DORA-compliant data governance designs for banking analytics, showing a strong focus on security and auditability. He’s equally comfortable rewriting core ELT models for performance as he is architecting orchestration and streaming solutions, and he brings a practical, product-minded approach informed by previous full-stack and startup experience. An educator at heart, he repeatedly turns platform initiatives into team capabilities rather than one-off projects.
