Senior🎓
Top SchoolRandall Hand is a Chief Software Architect with two decades of hands-on engineering and leadership experience building visualization, medical device, robotics, and high-performance distributed systems. He has led teams from small groups to 50+ engineers while architecting solutions that span Linux kernel drivers, real-time multi‑processor frameworks, and cloud-native services. Randall has delivered specialty systems including a batch-mode visualization pipeline for supercomputers to process multi-terabyte datasets, a medical image-guidance platform integrated with haptics and tracking, and outage/GIS integrations for utilities. His recent roles blend product and cloud strategy—modernizing dental robotics at Neocis after driving cloud products and migrations at Magic Leap and leading healthcare engineering at eMed. Equally comfortable in low-level firmware and large-scale SaaS, he is known for bridging research-grade HPC and production engineering to solve complex, safety‑critical problems. Based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area, he pairs an electrical engineering background and a master’s in scientific visualization with a practical track record of shipping fielded medical and spatial-computing systems.
