Senior🎓
Top SchoolRandy Sesser is a seasoned software leader and current Vice President of Application Development with over 15 years of hands-on engineering and more than 20 years of enterprise technology experience. He blends a designer’s sensibility from a BA in Communication Design with deep backend expertise across C#/.NET Core, Java, PHP, Python, NodeJS, T-SQL, and cloud-native tooling like AWS and Docker. Randy has progressed from individual contributor and consultant roles to engineering leadership at companies including Banc of California, Local.com, and atEvent, consistently owning release management, DevOps/DevSecOps, and information security practices. He’s equally comfortable writing production stored procedures as he is defining CI/CD pipelines and technical specifications, which helps him translate complex requirements into auditable, reliable systems. A perpetual tinkerer of the internet since 1999, he brings entrepreneurial instincts from running his own consultancy to scaling teams and processes in enterprise environments. Notably, his background in graphic design gives him an uncommon edge for clear technical documentation and communicative architecture decisions.
