Senior🎓
Top SchoolRaphael Pigulla is a seasoned engineering leader with 13+ years of experience building high-performing, cross-functional teams and delivering robust web platforms. Currently Head of Engineering (Retail Platform) at HolidayCheck AG, he combines hands‑on expertise in Node.js and TypeScript with deep experience in architecture, infrastructure-as-code and cloud migrations. He has led distributed teams across multiple countries, coached engineers into architect and leadership roles, and consistently improved delivery through structured agile practices. As an accredited iSAQB trainer he teaches advanced web architecture and foundation courses, blending practical system design with stakeholder management. Early tinkering on a one-megabyte-hosted website still informs his pragmatic, resource-conscious approach to engineering. Based in Feldkirchen, Bavaria, he’s equally comfortable shipping code, shaping learning curricula, and advising leadership on technical strategy.
