SeniorRasul Kireev is a full-stack software engineer with 8 years of experience, currently building integrations and data-driven features at Readwise for both web and mobile products. He specializes in reliable third-party integrations, data modeling and parsing, and improving observability and asynchronous processing to keep millions of highlights and documents flowing smoothly. Previously he built scalable backend services, search, and ETL pipelines at Guy Carpenter using Python, FastAPI, Databricks and Kubernetes, and earlier combined analytics and automation roles across consulting and finance. A prolific builder and entrepreneur, Rasul maintains several side projects and educational resources—like Built with Django and Tech Job Alerts—and practices “learning in public” through tutorials and a past podcast. Beyond code, he applies systems thinking to product problems, wins local chess tournaments, and experiments with AI agents, homemade ferments, and digital art.
