Senior🎓
Top SchoolRaúl Palacios is a pragmatic Software Engineer II with 11 years of experience building and scaling Ruby on Rails and JavaScript applications from startup MVPs to production services supporting high-traffic events. At Kueski he led Ruby upgrades, optimized a Rails BFF to sustain 200+ RPS during peak sales, and introduced canary deployments and rate-controlled ingestion workflows that dramatically reduced sync failures. He co-founded and accelerated startups, mentors junior engineers, and consistently lifts test coverage and developer experience across front-end and back-end stacks. Comfortable across GraphQL, Sidekiq, Kubernetes, and performance testing tooling like Locust, he blends hands-on coding with systems thinking to prevent downtime. Based in Puebla, Mexico, Raúl pairs entrepreneurial instincts with a focus on mentorship and measurable operational improvements.
