Top SchoolRaul Popa is a serial founder and AI-driven product leader with over a decade building secure, scalable authentication and user-centric web products. As Co-founder and CEO of TypingDNA he has commercialized behavioral biometrics into enterprise-grade continuous authentication and fraud detection, winning backing from Gradient Ventures and recognition from Gartner and Frost & Sullivan. His trajectory spans product-led growth—taking Bannersnack from zero to 1M users—and exits, plus early-stage wins like Techstars NYC, demonstrating both tactical execution and investor credibility. A frequent global speaker and advisor, his policy engagement (including testimony to the European Parliament) helped shape elements of the EU AI Act, reflecting influence beyond engineering. Raul blends interdisciplinary training in psychology, sociology and AI from institutions including MIT and Stanford with multiple patent filings in authentication, revealing a rare mix of human-behavior insight and machine learning rigor. He mentors founders at the intersection of AI, UX and cybersecurity and continues to translate behavioral signals into practical security products used by millions.
